WATAYARisa
（NOVELIST）
Born in the Kyoto Prefecture in 1984. Graduated from Murasakino High School. She
acquired a master's degree in Japanese Literature and Language Education at the
School of Education of Waseda University, Tokyo.
In 2001, she was awarded the 38th Bungei Prize for “Install”, which she wrote
at the age of 17, and in 2004 the 180th Akutagawa Prize for her next novel, “Keritai
Senaka”.
Her latest work is "Yumewo ataeru".
